The Economic Trailblazer Project is all about supporting people in achieving their goals. This project aims to support people on their journey to getting closer to gaining new skills, qualifications, volunteering roles or employment, one step at a time. One-to-one support from a Navigator will help to people to identify their personal goals through a co-designed, person-centred action plan, aiming to remove the barriers they are experiencing in getting closer to the world of work. Alongside access to the Booth Centre’s wider offer, the support offered includes:

  • Guidance with CVs, job searching and training
  • Referrals to specialist services such mental or physical health specialists
  • Health, housing and financial advice
  • Support to discover new activities and investing in hobbies
  • Promoting wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle

Who is this service for?

This project is available for people who are located in the borough of Manchester. People who are interested in getting back into education, learning something new or getting into work in the future, but are experiencing barriers preventing them from achieving those goals, would benefit from this support.

How do you access this service?

People can also come along to the Booth Centre and speak to a team member to access this service, as well as linking in with our Navigators when they are on outreach at various locations across the city. Our Trailblazer Navigators also offer a point of contact through email for both individuals looking for support and services seeking support for people they are working with.
