The Booth Centre is a place of possibility. Every day we celebrate the strengths, achievements and milestones of the people who make up our community. Progress looks different for everyone, and we are proud to walk alongside people as they build confidence, skills, connections and new opportunities, facing any challenges together.

Our work is built through co-production. Members of our community take part in the design, delivery, review and commissioning of our services. Their voices and experiences shape the direction of the organisation.

Partnership work through co-production and collaboration drives our work across the city, Greater Manchester and regionally.

To bring about positive change in the lives of people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and help them plan for and realise a better future.

We have 5 key values that underscore everything do we as an organisation.

Inclusive

We are welcoming and supportive. We provide the opportunity for people to socialise, share their experiences and learn from one another. We have an open door policy and all our services are provided free of charge. We don’t judge people and we never give up on anyone.

Respectful

We respect each other and celebrate diversity so that everyone can give their best. We recognise the importance of providing a friendly environment where people can feel safe.

Empowering

We encourage people to take personal responsibility for making positive changes in their lives by providing opportunities, developing their talents, and helping to build their confidence and self esteem.

Partnership

We recognise the importance of working collaboratively with people who come to the centre to design, deliver and evaluate our services. We work jointly with other organisations to achieve the best outcomes.

Our building

After moving from the small room at the Cathedral in 2014, we have been busy making Holt House our home! Use the walk-though here to see the Booth Centre in all its glory, from our beautiful garden, all the way through the Centre!
